AGOK condolence for late Z Obed

Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho (AGOK) has expressed great shock at the demise of late Z. Obed, retired chief secretary and former minister of Nagaland, who passed away at Dimapur on January 30 after a brief illness.

AGOK in a condolence by president Dr. Kedozeto Punyü and general secretary, Megolou Dolie stated that, Nagas in general and the Angami community in particular have lost a tall leader, a man whose name was synonymous with that of a true leader, as he had served the government of Nagaland at the highest bureaucratic level, respected by all and later, as an elected member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, continuing to carry on his commitment and zeal to serve the people.
AGOK while stating that the vacuum left by his demise would be difficult to fill, also conveyed condolences to the widow Naro Obed and family members.
