In a joint collaboration of district administration Tuensang, health and family welfare Tuensang, social welfare department Tuensang, state bank of India and AADHAR conducted Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) convergence mela with special focus on adolescent girls at Chessore Town on March 13. A press release from women welfare officer stated that free medical check and medicine, bank account opening AADHAR enumeration were provided with an aim to bring awareness among the deprived population who have no access to basic services.
Earlier, Toking Yimchunger EAC and SDO in-charge Chessore, Dr. I. Moatemjem, CMO Tuensang urged the people to avail all the facilities provided at the best while Songmao. M women welfare, gave a brief note on BBBP. More than 450 people from Chessore town and village availed all the facilities provided at the convergence mela.
