Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Mon organised farmer’s seminar on “crop diversification for livelihood security & resilience to climate variability” under National Innovations Climate Resilience Agriculture- Technology Demonstration Component (NICRA- TDC) on March 13 at KVK office, Aboi.
During the technical session, resource person, ACTO genetics & plant breeding, Dr. Manoj Singh Sachan highlighted the different types of climate resilient practices and crop varieties and cropping system for increasing the cropping intensity, productivity, profitability, with enhancement of farmer’s income. ACTO animal science, Dr Paihem Michui spoke about intensive integrated farming along with multipurpose tree species for enhancing food and livelihood security.
