Dimapur Dist admin stresses on social distancing

Dimapur district has informed all the organizations/NGOs undertaking humanitarian act to carry out the activities only through the collaboration of the district administration

In a circular, DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi said the government has noted that sometimes such humanitarian activities was undertaken without maintaining proper social distancing and other laid down protocols though various advisories issued in the interest of the public by the government. 

Therefore, DC has directed all the organizations/NGOs to collaborate with the district administration so that proper food safety regulations, precautions and social distancing were maintained and also to ensure that distribution of relief materials to the destitute across the entire town could be covered in a systematic way.  All NGOs engaged in food distribution and other humanitarian activities have been requested to contact extra assistant commissioner (dev) mobile No.7005968695 and DC office Dimapur for necessary coordination and assignment of areas under the community kitchen initiative.
