DMC organises ‘reception’ for cyclist

Dimapur Meetei Council (DMC) with its youth wing organised a ‘reception” for Philem Rohan Singh, a cyclist who has started a tour from India Gate, Delhi on January 8 to raise awareness air pollution and reached Dimapur on Sunday.
In a press release, DMC informed that a “reception” was organised at Sunday Bazar near Delai Gate, Karbi Anglong, Assam and then Philem was escorted to Spirit of Faith Church, Kuda Village, Dimapur.
While appreciating Philem for his “noble cause”, Dimapur Meetei Council acknowledged that problem of pollution exists everywhere and encouraged one and all to ride cycle which could be useful for both health and environment.
