COVID-19 update: 26 negative, results of six awaited

Sharing daily updates on status of COVID-19 in Nagaland, the state health & family welfare (H&FW) department Wednesday informed that while 26 persons were tested negative for COVID-19, results of six were still awaited.

Principal director H&FW, Dr. Vizolie Z Suokhrie informed total persons screened as of 2pm April 1, 2020 was 771, which include 161 from Kohima, 125 from Mokokchung, 15 from Peren, 30 from Phek, 167 from Mon, 59 from Tuensang, 132 from Zunheboto, one from Wokha and 21 from Kiphire.

Pointing out that cumulative number of persons put under quarantine was 4,747, Dr. Suokhrie said that 1,146 persons were already out, but 3,601 were presently on quarantine. He also informed that number of isolation beds in the state was 173 and number of foreigners in the state at present was 10.

Further, as per the update, a total of 38,375 phone calls have been received through helpline.
