Student bodies recover drugs; submits to SDO

Suruhuto Town Students’ Union (STSU) and Yehemi Students Union (YSU) on May 24 recovered 394 Spasmo Proxyvon capsules and five yeasts and submitted the same to Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) Suruhuto.

In a letter addressed to SDO (C) Suruhuto, STSU stated that on receiving specific information the union headed by its president in collaboration with YSU intercepted a car at Kihetha village junction and recovered the consignment. Two occupants, one female and one male, were held along with the consignment. Further, in the letter the union had mentioned several alleged accomplices and has asked the concerned authority to initiate action against them.
