Industrial Village Razhüphe Village Council (IVRVC) during its general meeting on January 27, has reaffirmed to stand by its last meeting resolution to strictly enforce ban on sale of liquor within the village jurisdiction. In this regard, the council has empowered village mothers’ unit to check and enforce the resolution. The house also cautioned that anyone indulging in selling liquor and creating nuisances within the village jurisdiction would be strictly dealt with as per the resolution by the village council. Meanwhile, at the meeting, the house has elected Neingulie Angami as the new village council chairman and relieved TL Angami (head GB-cum-chairman) from chairmanship.
