State govt freezes DA and DF

However, they shall continue to be paid at the current rates till further order, a DIPR report stated.

The decision was in line with the Finance ministry OM dated April 23.

Accordingly, as and when a decision is taken by the Centre to release the future installment of Dearness Allowances due from July 1, 2021, the deferred enhancements of Dearness Allowances shall be prospectively restored and incorporated into the rate of July 2021 without arrears as specified in the OM, DIPR stated.
