One injured in hit and run case

 In a hit and run case, one teenage girl was hit by an alto bearing registration number NL07C 5236 near High School Junction at Kohima, Tuesday afternoon around 2: 30 p.m.  

According to police report, the drunk driver in an inebriated state  had already rammed into three cars and a scooter and while speeding off from the scene, he hit a pedestrian, an 18-year old girl.

According to reports, the driver identified as Vekeduolie, age 32 years still tried to escape but police arrested him near NBCC convention hall.

The girl was taken to hospital but miraculously did not bear any serious injuries and more medical investigation is on.  A case has been registered in North PS and investigation has begun.
