College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry (VS&AH), Jalukie organised a webinar session on the occasion of “world zoonoses day” on July 6.
A press release from CVS&AH stated that, Vice chancellor, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, professor M. Premjit Singh was the chief patron of the occasion organised by CVS&AH dean Dr. Arun Kumar Sangwan. He also delivered a session on emerging threats of zoonotic pathogens.
Dr. Raghubir Singh, assistant professor of Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology spoke on sylvatic zoonoses and strategies for prevention and control.
The programme was coordinated by associate professor of Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology, Dr. S Mukherjee.
