In view of the detection of COVID-19 positive cases in the Beisumpuikam community quarantine centre, the entire village of Beisumpuikam and its premises have been declared as containment area.
In an order dated on July 5, SDO (C) Ahthibung, Ruopfukuotuo Noudi, stated that all movements in and out of the demarcated perimeter/boundary of the quarantine centre would be strictly prohibited except for medical/emergency services and all SOPs to be strictly followed by all.
Further, SDO (C) directed the medical department to initiate immediate contact tracing as per the protocol and conduct retesting of the inmates if necessary at the earliest.
