Chakhro Angami Kuda Union (CAKU) held an executive meeting on July 7 and deliberated over the present crisis concerning Naga Council Dimapur (NCD).
In a press release CAKU assistant general secretary, Lhoutsolie Nakhro reiterated its press statement issued on June 27 to firmly stand against “any unconstitutional practices” in setting up of new NCD office bearers (2020-2025).
Further, CAKU resolved that the newly nominated members for NCD councillor from all tribal hohos should elect/select its leaders from among themselves as the tenure of NCD incumbent executive has ended on March 31, 2020.
