Advisor of Fire and Emergency Services, SIRD, Relief & Rehabilitation Pohwang Konyak visited the quarantine centre (QC) at Phomching SDO HQ, Mon which falls under his constituency on July 10.
A press release informed that, advisor in his brief address to the quarantine inmates encouraged them to stay strong, adhere to all the government guidelines. He also reminded them about efforts of the state government, frontline workers and civil societies, who were all ensuring their safety till the completion of the quarantines period.
He also thanked the frontline workers for their services and all those organisations and individuals who had come forward and contributed for the cause.
Advisor was accompanied by DC Mon, SP Mon, CMO, project director DRDA & convener of District Empowered Committee who also briefed the returnees at the quarantine centre. Till July 10 there were 105 returnees at the Phomching quarantine centre.
