Nagaland on Sunday reported 26 fresh COVID-19 cases form across the state, while 14 more recovered from the deadly virus, taking the state’s total tally to 774 cases– 447 active and 327 recovered till July 12.
In his tweet on Sunday, state Health minister, S. Pangnyu Phom said that positive cases on Sunday were reported from Dimapur- 18 cases, Phek- 4, Tuensang- 3 and Kohima- 1.
All the positive cases have been referred to the designated COVID-19 hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres for medical treatment.
The Health department has also initiated active surveillance and contact tracing to prevent further spread of the infection.
Further, Pangnyu said 8 COVID-19 patients from Phek, 5 from Peren and 1 from Kohima recovered from COVID-19.
