Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) withdrew the Zeliangrong people’s mandate given to NSCN (I-M) forthwith as the latter had derecognised it and its frontal organisations. This was decided at the 10th Dimki session of the organisation held at Imphal on Wednesday via video conference and attended by its leaders from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland, besides ZB Mother, Zeliangrong Youth Front, Zeliangrong Students’ Union representatives and senior leaders of Zeliangrong community.
Chaired by ZB (AMN) speaker Pou Meidinlung Pamei, the house reaffirmed the previous 8th and 9th Dimki resolutions unanimously after a threadbare discussion. It also reviewed resolution no.7 of the 8th Dimki, 2018 regarding affiliation of ZB Senapati zone in NPO. Since ZB Manipur has ceased to be a constituent unit of UNC, it was decided and resolved that ZB Senapati Zone would not seek any affiliation in any organisation but shall remain as one of the constituent units of ZB, Manipur. After a lengthy discussion, the Dimki further resolved to support the proposed delimitation of Assembly constituencies in Assam, Manipur and Nagaland.
