
Expressing dismay at the delay and silence of the state government to the demand of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Nagaland unit, “that students be evaluated on the basis of their internal marks, assignments, project work, dissertations and their past performances”, the NSUI Nagaland unit has decided to launch the first phase of online campaign on July 26.
A press release from National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Nagaland unit media cell stated that, already 10 states and UTs have decided to cancel even the final year exams, while Nagaland state government was still silent on this issue. It further reiterated that the final year students viz. UG, PG and other allied courses be promoted without exams.
The release stated that National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Nagaland Unit has been relentless in its pursuit against conducting any form of exams during the pandemic and had sent a letter to the CM of Nagaland and minister Higher & Technical Education on June 24 but there has been no response till date.
