Students of Government Middle School (GMS) Longya Ward Kiphire were briefed on the dos and don’ts of COVID pandemic during Mid Day Meal distribution day Friday at the school premises. A press release by GMS Longya head teacher, Rechungkiu Tikhir informed that during a short assembly programme before MDM distribution, the students were briefed on COVID guidelines and asked to follow the same. The students were also advised to maintain good hygiene at home and remain indoor. As many students have gone back to their respective villages, he said information from the school department could not be disseminated to the students due to network connectivity.
