Joint meeting of the Peren District Task Force (DTF) & JAC on COVID-19 was held on July 27 at conference hall, district headquarter Peren to discuss matters related to COVID-19 in the district, under the chairmanship of DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier who is also the chairman of Peren DTF.
According to DIPR report, DTF & JAC resolved to issue another stringent order in regard to funeral service/last rite and social related gatherings through village level & town level.
The board also decided to adopt strict directives/advisories for those entering the district from other districts of Nagaland as well as from other states in order to prevent community transmission in the district.
With regard to the entry and exit, the house asked the Medical team & Police personnel manning the check gate of Heningkunglwa & Mhainamtsi to maintain a proper record of the movement of people. Discussion was also held to re-activate village health care and sanitation committee as well as to disseminate information related to COVID-19.
