ANGCTA to join nationwide stir

All Nagaland Government College Teachers Association (ANGCTA) Tuesday announced its decision to join the nationwide protest on July 29, 2020 calling for immediate withdrawal of the July 6, 2020 UGC guidelines and suggest alternative mode of examination.

In a press release, ANGCTA president Lily Angami and general secretary, Dr. Kekhrieseno Christina, stated that the association and its associates would desist from participation in any form in college activities. ANGCTA has also appealed to all the stakeholders of higher education in the state to show support and join the protest regardless of affiliates and status.
Further, the association has appealed to the private colleges, associations and ANCSU to be a part of this protest as it concerned the welfare and the larger interest of the student and teaching community.
