In view of the detection of COVID-19 positive cases, the deputy commissioner (DC) Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, has ordered sealing of areas at Officers Hill (Ward No. 19), Lower Lerie (Ward No. 16), Lower Bayavü (Ward No. 2), Upper Midlane (Ward No.9), Lower Chandmari (Ward No. 13), Kohima Village (L. Khel) and Sechü Zubza, in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing. In a notification, DC Kohima notified that all movement of person/vehicles within the defined sealed area was strictly restricted prohibited and under active surveillance with immediate effect.
