Nagaland COVID tally crosses 1500-mark

Nagaland’s COVID-19 tally on Wednesday surpassed the 1500-mark after 53 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected. 

According to Health minister, S. Pangnyu Phom the fresh cases were detected from out of the 453 samples– 29 in Dimapur, 19 in Kohima and 5 in Mon.

With this the total tally as on July 29 stood at 1513– 913 active, 595 recovered and 4 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, all 913 active cases are asymptomatic.

India’s COVID-19 tally crosses 15-lakh mark

PTI: India’s COVID-19 tally went past 15 lakh on Wednesday, two days after it crossed the 14-lakh mark, with 48,513 fresh cases recorded in a day while the recoveries surged to 9,88,029, according to the Union Health Ministry data. The total COVID cases climbed to 15,31,669, while the country’s death toll due to the disease rose to 34,193 with 768 deaths being reported in a 24-hour span, the data updated at 8 am showed.
