Nikos hospital to resumes services

Following deputy commissioner Dimapur’s directive, Nikos hospital informed that it would resume services from August 3 onwards.

According to Nikos hospital managing director, Dr. Victo A. Wotsa the emergency room and ICU were sealed since July 18 and then total lockdown since July 22 after two patient tested positive for Covid-19, out of which one passed away on July 21. 

Eight of the staff, who had also tested positive for Covid-19 by TrueNat, were also shifted to Covid Care Centre. 

Dr. Victo said that hospital complex has been thoroughly sanitized by the DMC and all non contact staffs were also under home quarantine since then. As per DC’s order for unsealing and permission to resume services, Dr. Victo said all services will resume from August 3.
