District Level Centre for Women (MSK) and district administration Tuensang under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) organised a two-day basket weaving training for women on September 28 and 29 at town hall, Tuensang.
A press release by DLCW Tuensang, stated that women welfare officer Songmao M highlighted about Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and also encouraged the trainees to diligently participate in learning the skill and to sustain livelihood.
She also motivated every young generation to become a successful entrepreneur and that youth of today should be the role model for next generation.
Training was organized for interested women under Tuensang district, with an objective to empower them and to enhance their skill. Altogether 37 participants took part in the skill development programme. Vote of thanks was delivered by S Niamkoi district coordinator (MSK).
