National voluntary blood donation day in Kohima

Along with the rest of state in celebrating the national voluntary blood donation day, Voluntary Blood Donors Association Kohima (VBDAK) in collaboration with Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS), National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) and Blood Bank, Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) organized a walk-in blood donation camp at Naga Hospital Kohima from 10 a.m till 3 p.m on Thursday. 

The event was organized to address the need and shortage of blood during this public health crisis where voluntary donors were needed more than ever. It was also held to maintain safe and adequate blood supply for patients in need. All safety measures were followed during the donation drive. Altogether 15 persons turned up to donate blood.
