Month-long Poshan Maah programme under Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2020 culminated in the state on September 30 with various activities.
Chessore block: Chessore ICDS project held the programme at GA Guest House conference hall, attended by SDO (C) and staff Chessore, church leaders, Chessore Area Public Forum, village leaders and others. Short speech was given by Toking Yim SDO in-charge (C) Chessore, wherein he expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the officers & staff of Chessore ICDS project. He also encouraged all the ICDS functionaries in the area to work with same zeal and co-operation even in the future. N.L Tangsoi sr. supervisor & field officer gave expressed thanks to the SDO in-charge (C) & staff and CDPO for their guidance and to all the village councils, CSOs, public leaders, stakeholders for their support and co-operation. A month-long activity was highlighted by Budhiram Thapa sr. supervisor & field officer.
Earlier, programme was chaired by Torrilla general secretary AWW & Helpers Union Chessore ICDS project, invocation by pastor Chessore Town Baptist Church and closing prayer by CB Chessore village.
Sekruzu block: Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM), of Rural Development (RD) under Sekruzu block, Phek, conducted the closing ceremony of Poshan Maah in convergence with Social Welfare department on September 30, at Vamuzo Memorial Town Hall, Chozuba. CDPO, Chozuba, Vekhoto Tetseo, encouraged Anganwadi workers and SHG members to give their best in upcoming various activities. BPM, NSRLM, Sekruzu block, Besuvoto Veswuh highlighted the importance of various convergence programmes, schemes, entitlements etc., while prizes were distributed to winner of the “cooking competition” in three best categories. Altogether, 70 participants attended in the closing ceremony.
