Security forces on August 22 apprehended one “arms dealer” near Kholeboto in Zunheboto.
A press release by PIB (Defence Wing) stated that based on specific intelligence regarding presence of arms dealer in the area, the security forces along with police representative launched an operation and apprehended the individual.
PIB said troops also recovered one AK-47 Rifle, three mag of AK-47, 60 live rounds of AK-47, one MK 3 Rifle, one mag of MK 3 Rifle, three live round of MK 3 Rifle.
The apprehended individual along with recovered items was handed over to Zunheboto police station for further investigation, informed PIB.
