Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) members along PWD (R&B) Dimapur officials and representatives of adjoining villages undertook a joint survey assessment visit to Niuland sector on August 31, for construction of motorable road within this working season.
In a press release, NFHRCC acknowledged the “prompt action” taken by PWD(R&B). NFHRCC stated that the PWD(R&B) chief engineer Limanaro, in a letter to respective divisional EEs PWD (R&B) dated August 26, 20, directed EEs to submit detail report within a stipulated for final assessment to restore the entire foothills stretches to a motorable road in the ensuing winter season as desired by the Naga public.
The committee has also expressed gratitude to the representatives of the adjoining villages in the area for extending cooperation and support in carrying out the joint visit.
