One-day training on food processing for Self Help Group (SHG) was conducted by Putu Long Foundation (PLF) on October 31, at Duncan Bosti, Dimapur.
A press release by PLF stated that, during the session, chairman of PLF Moala Longchar underlined the practice of SHGs taking loan without any clear objectives leading to failures. She exhorted all the SHGs to work hard and also appealed them to participate keenly in their SHG activities so they can add to the income of the family and be self-sufficient.
Altogether 21 SHGs attended the programme. The training concluded with the demonstration of different activities by the SHGs.
