
After seven years of construction, Ukha Baptist Church under Mon district was dedicated by executive secretary (ES), Rev. M. Chemyuh KBBB on Friday. The church was constructed at the cost of Rs. 2.63 crore. In his sermon, ES congratulated the construction committee, villagers of Ukha and all involved in the successful completion of the church.
He reminded that building big church without unity in the village/community would not help the church grow and therefore urged the congregations to build church in their hearts as visible church alone was just temporary.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Mon district hospital chaplin, YP David, construction chairman N. Shuhuh welcomed the guest invitees from neighboring villages while ES pronounced dedicatory prayer and unveiled the new church monolith. The event was held with strict adherence on COVID’s SOPs.
