IETC conducts training on mushroom cultivation

Six-day skill training of rural youth (STRY) on “mushroom cultivation” was organised by Integrated Extension Training Institute (IETC), Medziphema in collaboration with  State Agricultural Management and Training Institute (SAMETI), Medziphema and National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad at SAMETI training hall Medziphema from December 14 to 19.

A press release by IETC stated that, training was moderated by agri officer IETC, Kikatemjen and key note address was given by principal IETC & director SAMETI, Dr. Watimongla Jamir. Vote of thanks was given by lecturer, IETC, Seyievielo Sono and valedictory closing remark was delivered by Dr. Bendangmenla Tzudir, AI, IETC. Feedback was received from the trainees and certificates were distributed. Altogether 17 trainees attended the training along with the officers and staffs from IETC. Resource persons for the training were lecturers and officers from IETC and SAMETI.
