Deputy chief minister and BLP leader, Y. Patton has expressed sorrow at the demise of late Phuhpai Konyak, father of Er. Cheong Konyak, senior BJP leader, who passed away on December 26. In a condolence note, Patton said that late Phuhpai Konyak, was one among the first educationist in Konyak community and with the demise of a visionary educationist a huge void has been created which will be difficult to fill. Y Patton on behalf of the state BJP legislators and party functionaries conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
