Sanitation drive at Kenchenshu village

As part of its objective to make Kenchenshu village cleaner and greener place to live in, the Village Council of Kenchenshu village conducted a “year-long sanitation drive” by organising a competition among the khels. 

During the drive, youth undertook the tasks of cleaning the village, planted tree saplings and way-side flower garden and general beautification of village. 

According to village council chairman of Kenchenshu village, N. Pongi the year-long sanitation drive ended on December 27 which was graced by ENPO vice president,  H. Angnyei Konyak as guest speaker.

He also gave away the winning cash prize to Changlhe khel Youth who bagged the first position followed by Changlang khel Youth and Chitao khel Youth in second and third positions.
