Shitiri clan dedicates monolith

Shitiri clan of Old Changsu Village observed monolith dedication service programme on December 30 at B-Khel Old Changsu village, rooted in remembrance of late N. Phyophio Shitiri, the first Christian convert from Old Changsu village in the year 1919, while commemorating 100 years of his Christianity.

A press release by convenor, monolith committee, Thungpenshan Shitiri stated that brief profile outline was narrated from families of both late N. Phyophio Shitiri, while the monolith was dedicated by pastor, Lotha Baptist Church Kukidolong, Dimapur, Rev. Nchibemo Shitiri. 

A word of encouragement and reminiscence was shared by retd. Deputy Director General (G), Geological Survey of India, Govt. of India, R. Tsironthung Shitiri.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by ACF director Dimapur, T Chenithung Shitiri and invocation by pastor Old Changsu Baptist Church, Chonbemo Shitiri.
