Litta Old Village Council (LOVC) in its meeting held on January 2 has resolved to ban all kinds of hunting in its jurisdiction with immediate effect. The council requested its surrounding village councils to inform its villagers in order to prevent misunderstandings in the future. LOVC also banned fishing with chemicals, generator and battery. Heavy fine would be imposed on defaulters as per “Azah” of the village council.
