The 75 anniversary celebration of Chakhesang tribe under the aegis of Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) will take place on January 10 at Phek town under the theme “Recognize, Celebrate and Inspire”. All Chakhesang villages have been asked to send only five delegates to the historic event without fail. All delegates shall maintain strict COVID-19 SOP due to the pandemic. This was stated in a press release issued by secretary organising committee, Colo Mero. CPO appealed to all the Chakhesang churches across various denominations to offer prayers of thanksgiving and commitment in their respective churches on the above mentioned day. There will be online live streaming of the anniversary celebration and all concerned members can follow and subscribe to the official Facebook Page and YouTube channel of the CPO for the same.
