Security forces in a joint operation with Police representative apprehended a NSCN (KN) cadre near Old Showuba, Dimapur on January 4.
According to HQ IGAR (N), based on specific input, security forces along with Police representatives launched an operation and apprehended one cadre of NSCN (KN) and recovered one .32 mm pistol with magazine and seven live rounds.
The apprehended NSCN (KN) cadre along with the recoveries were handed over to Diphupar Police station for further investigation. Meanwhile on January 3, security forces in a joint operation with Police apprehended an armed individual near Purana Bazar, Dimapur.
Based on specific input, security forces along with Police launched an operation and recovered one .22 mm pistol with magazine.
The apprehended individual along with the recoveries were handed over to Dimapur East Police station for further investigation.
