Department of Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) led by IG (F&ES), Neilasa Sopfii, along with 11 fire and emergency personnel, two Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO) volunteers and two other volunteers visited Dzukou Valley on January 7.
According to PRO (Directorate of F&ES), the visit was undertaken to ascertain the damage caused by the recent wild fire and to survey the areas in and around Dzukou Valley.
It added that the department would submit its report on Preventive and Control measures for future wild fire to the Government.
