Naga Bowl Express restaurant, Dimapur won the title for “most admired traditional Naga cuisine restaurant in Nagaland” awarded by Merit Awards and Market Research Private Limited which recognises excellence and showcase the outstanding work by food and hospitality professionals in India.
India’s Most Prominent Food & Hospitality Awards 2020 ceremony was virtually held in New Delhi on November 21. The virtual award was honored by chief guest and juries such as chef. Sanjeev Kapoor, an Indian celebrity chef, entrepreneur and television personality. Kapoor stars in the TV show Khana Khazana, which is the longest running show of its kind in Asia, chef. Vicky Ratnani, who has written a cookbook called “Vicky goes non-veg” and Chef Kunal Kapoor, Indian celebrity chef and restaurateur known for hosting and judging Master Chef India.
A thanksgiving programme was held on January 7 at Naga Bowl Express Restaurant with pastor Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo, Rev. Lima Jamir gracing the event.
Rev. Lima expressed that it was a proud moment for Nagas as Naga cuisine was being recognised at national level through the sheer dedication of the proprietor, Alemjungla Jamir who took every opportunity to showcase and promote Naga food on all platforms. Alemjungla thanked team Naga Bowl for their unwavering dedication, customers and well wishers for their support throughout the two year journey of Naga Bowl Express.
