Power shutdown in Dimapur, Peren

Power department has informed that there would be power shutdown on January 16 and January 18, 2021 under Dimapur and Peren districts for installation of new protection system at 2x100MVA 132/66/33kV sub-station. In a press note, executive engineer (Trans) Dimapur Er. SI Asangba Tikhir informed that consumers availing power supply from the following sub-stations—66/11kV Sovima, 66/11kV Chumoukedima, 66/11 kV Burma camp (Power House), 66/33/11kV Dairy Farm, 66/33/11kV Nito Farm, 66/33/11kV Ganeshnagar, 33/11kV Jalukie—would be affected from 6am to 1pm on January 16, 2021. Further, consumers availing power supply from the following sub-stations—33/11kV Supermarket, 33/11 kV Referral, 33/11kV Industrial Estate, 33/11kV Metha and 33/11kV Medziphema—would be affected from 6am to 1pm on January 18, 2021. In the light of the above, the department has requested all affected consumers to bear with the inconvenience.
