
Third-day of the National level Kala Utsav online competition on 2D (painting) 3D (sculpture) and indigenous toy making was held at Razhukhrie Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima.
The ongoing competition was organizd by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India and the National Council of Educational Research and Training New Delhi.
The Art Festival focuses on promoting traditional folk and classical art forms and also to create a platform to explore, exchange and experience, the diverse cultural heritage of the country. Two students from GHSS Sarbura Dimapur took part in 3D competition and two students from Dr. N. Kire GHSS and GHSS Lengrijan in 2D competition.
In indigenous toy making competition, two students from GHSS Longleng and GHS Englan participated. The competitors were the district level winners, which was conducted last November.
The online competition will continue till January 22 and results will be declared on January 23 in Delhi.
