
Departmental coordination meetings of Bhandari, Medziphema and the monthly meeting for sub-divisional planning and development board Pughoboto was held on January 18 respectively.
According to DIPR report, chairing the meeting, ADC and chairman BTF on COVID-19 Bhandari, Tiameren Chang lauded and thanked the church, civil societies and student leaders for their cooperation and pro-active role as part of BTF to efficiently combat and manage the COVID-19 pandemic under Bhandari sub-division. Dr. Chumdemo Ngullie informed the house that first phase of vaccination drive would be held on January 19 and 20.
In the same meeting, the Education department also informed that online classes were going on in full swing for classes 10, 11, and 12 with round the clock competent supervision, to ensure online quality education and health safety of all stakeholders with adherence to COVID-19 SOP.
House also discussed on preparatory measures relating to the upcoming Republic Day celebration 2021, and chalked up work plan after which, departments were assigned with different tasks to complete on time.
Monthly meeting for sub-divisional planning and development board Pughoboto was held under the chairmanship of ADC & SDPDB vice chairman, Thungchanbemo Tungoe at the DB customary court hall on January 18. According to DIPR report, executive engineer (R&B) Pughoboto, Chengato Kath stated that the road maintenance fund has already been allocated and direction from chief engineer was awaited to execute the works to start by the end of this month. SMO CHC Pughoboto, Dr. J. Hokugha highlighted about the COVID vaccine and roll out the first phase in the CHC Pughoboto for the division from January 19, 10 a.m. He appealed to the house to dispel rumours of the vaccine. House also chalked out the Republic day celebration.
Coordination meeting consisting of all Medziphema sub-division heads of offices was held in the ADC office on January 18, under the chairmanship of additional deputy commissioner, Thuvisie Phoji. The coordination meeting chalked out the programme of the upcoming Republic Day to be held at ADC office. SDO (C) Tokai Sumi did the work distribution to all the departments. ADC Thuvisie Phoji reminded the officers to deliver their duties sincerely and coordinate for the successful celebration of the republic day.
