Deputy commissioner Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan convened a meeting with HoDs and administrative officers under Dimapur district on January 18, conference hall of DC Dimapur.
According to DIPR report, the meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of DC Dimapur to chalk out programme with regards to the ensuing Republic Day celebration.
In the meeting, DC Dimapur highlighted the instructions received from the Home department on guidelines to be followed during the celebration. Work distribution for seat arrangements, decorations, PA system, construction of welcome gate, law and order etc. were assigned to concerned departments.
Meanwhile, DC informed that due to the pandemic, visits to institutions would not be permitted as per Home Department’s direction.
Further, he urged upon all the departments to take up responsibilities assigned to them sincerely for ensuring successful celebration of the event.
On behalf of Rotary Club Dimapur, president Chandu Agarwal informed that the club would be donating 1000 masks in the venue of celebration for use during the programme.
