
Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Jalukie conducted valedictory programme of its 124th batch for mushroom cultivation at its premises in Jalukie on November 25.
A press release by SBI, Rural Self Employment Training Institute Peren stated that, the ten-day programme which commenced from November 16 provided step-by-step training on cultivation of oyster mushroom in sawdust and hay.
Special guest, BM SBI Jalukie, B Lohou advised trainees not to give up easily once they start the project and put their full effort to take the project to its logical end.
Earlier, the special guest presented certificates and distributed mushroom seeds to the trainees.
In his address, director, Novin Basumatary said that since 2011, the institute has been providing free skill based training to the rural youths in order to improve their livelihood through self employment or wage employment.
He encouraged the trainees to be dedicated in their endeavour and become brand ambassadors of the institute.
