State urban development department is all set to begin road repair works in nine district headquarters excluding Dimapur, Kohima and Mokokchung. Advisor municipal and urban affairs, Dr. Nicky Kire, informed this to media persons on the sidelines of an event here on Monday. He disclosed that Rs. 50 crore under SPA has been set for repair and maintenance of roads in the nine district headquarters. Dr.Kire said Kohima, Dimapur and Mokokchung were not included, adding that the works would begin as soon as possible.
