Senior Ao national workers at a meeting with NSCN (I-M) steering committee convenor and kilo kilonser, at the ceasefire monitoring cell office on January 23, have strongly reaffirmed support to the “Framework Agreement” and also the ongoing peace talks with the government of India.
In a press release, NSCN (I-M) Ao Region CAO, P. Lima Kichu stated that Ao senior national workers amicably resolved to “forgo the past misunderstandings and miscommunications, which arose between the Ao national workers and further agreed to strengthen and work for the national cause.”
They also congratulated Ashiho Asomi on his new assignment as convenor steering committee and expressed gratitude to the collective leadership for the “prestigious assignment to Arep Jamir as the speaker of Tatar Hoho, NSCN/GPRN.”
