Dmu traffic regulations on Republic Day

As part of security arrangements for the 72nd Republic Day celebration at DDSC Stadium on January 26, the Dimapur police have partially restricted vehicular movement in certain stretch in Dimapur. 

PRO of Dimapur police informed that the vehicular traffic from Tragopan Police Point till Newfield Check Gate will be restricted from 0830 hrs till the completion of the celebration. 
While vehicles with ‘Z’ and ‘Y’ category car passes will be allowed entry from Tragopan Police Point/New Field Check Gate, only ‘Z’ category car pass will be allowed entry inside DDSC stadium.  Normal traffic will be diverted towards Island colony via Khermahal junction while medical emergencies will be exempted after subject to anti sabotage checking. Vehicular traffic in all the major inter-state/inter-district entry/exit points under Dimapur district (Dellai/NewField/Chumoukedima check gates) will be restricted from 0600 hrs till the completion of the celebration. In this regard, Dimapur police has requested all concerned to cooperate with the temporary traffic regulations.
