DNSU backs TSUD demand

Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) extended its support to Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) on setting up of cyber cell in Dimapur.

A press release by DNSU media cell called upon the concerned authority to take up the matter with paramount concern without delay.
Pointing out that with development in technologies and widespread use of internet, the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union stated that cyber crime has become a serious issue and a real threat to the people.
Expressing disappointment that there was only one cyber cell in Kohima for the whole state, DNSU shared that the complainants were “compelled to run to Kohima to register the case amounting to unnecessary harassment”.
Meanwhile, the union also appealed to all the police stations in Nagaland to initiate zero FIR system for any such cyber crimes matter so as to curb the issue without unnecessary physical harassment.
