NSCN (I-M) refutes Assam Rifles report

Refuting to the claim made by Assam Rifles with regard to the arrested drug addict Simon Phom on January 22 in Dimapur, the NSCN (I-M) has produced the statement of Tongai Phom, father of the arrested drug addict “to refute the claim of the Assam Rifles (AR) that he is NSCN member.”

NSCN (I-M) through its MIP stated that, the “smear campaign of the AR against NSCN is nothing new and this is the same game to put NSCN in bad light.”
Meanwhile, Tangai Phom, father of Simon Phom has clarified that “he is not affiliated and associated with NSCN (I-M) in any matter” and that “we have told to the concern officer during the time of his arrest that he is mere public and has no connection with the said faction.”
