Dy.CM, Y Patton expressed grief over the demise of retired district sports officer, Merithung Odyuo at Wokha town after prolonged illness at the age of 83 years.
A condolence note by Dy.CM through media cell stated that Patton recalled late Odyuo as a keen sportsman and a sincere officer who played a vital role in uplifting sports and games.
He also stated that in his death, Englan range and Lothas had lost an elderly gentleman of vast experience.
Dy.CM further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest peacefully.
